Digital Resources Cataloging
YBP can provide cataloging support for any digital resource ordered as an individual title, ordered as a collection or set of resources or supplied as part of a library's digital resource approval plan. YBP can also provide cataloging support for the EBL and ebrary Demand-Driven Acquisitions (DDA) services. These records conform to the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC's) MARC Record Guide for Monograph Aggregator Vendors. These records can be configured to conform to the current vendor neutral guidelines. YBP's records contain library-specific URLs and can be customized to accommodate any customer's local cataloging requirements.
YBP's digital resource records are either derived from records for the print format or created by YBP catalogers. All YBP digital resource records are full-level records and include subject analysis and a classification number. YBP's digital resource cataloging service is designed to conform and dovetail with existing collection development and acquisitions workflows.
