YBP Library Services, located in Contoocook, New Hampshire, was founded in 1971 as a bookseller for academic libraries. In 1999, we were acquired by Baker & Taylor, the world's largest distributor of physical and digital books and entertainment products to libraries and retailers.
For more than 40 years, YBP's guiding and unwavering principles have been to build close relationships with academic libraries and consortia while providing the best solution for their acquisition, collection development and technical service needs. We've grown from a small, one room business in 1971 to a global company of more than 350 employees. Today, we deliver print and digital content to libraries in more than 40 countries.
