Every quarter year YBP releases a segment of the Core 1000 list that will include 250 titles. The Profiling Bibliographers at YBP select these titles for inclusion on the list, based on exceptional candidates from the current approval titles. The four quarterly lists of 250 titles will be combined in February and form the Core 1000 for that year.
The UK Core 300 list is produced using the same methods as the Core 1000, involving our Bibliographers selecting these titles from the new academic titles published in the UK. The four quarterly lists of 75 titles will be combined in February and form the Core 300 for that year.
The YBP Awards Program is an efficient and automatic way for academic libraries to acquire award-winning books. The Children's Awards and Adult Awards program is an automatic acquisitions program for libraries developing a core collection of award winning children's and adult books. The Key Reviews Program provides review titles as automatic book shipments or title notifications for titles reviewed in common academic review sources.
