YBP Library Services Provides Newsletter Readers
Book Jackets for Wrapping Paper
Published By Greener Hopkinton eNewsletter
This holiday season, YBP Library Services (formerly Yankee Book Peddler) of Contoocook has arranged to make discarded book jackets available to the public that would otherwise go in the recycle bin.
YBP provides books and library services to academic, research and special libraries around the world. The book jackets are discarded at the request of some library customers for a variety of reasons. The strong and colorful paper are perfect for wrapping gifts and for making origami paper boxes, envelopes and gift tags.
Donna Dunlap, Director of the Hopkinton Town Library, loves the idea and says the library will gladly provide the central location where folks can pick up their unique wrapping paper.
Book jackets will be available at the library through December while supplies last.
