We understand the importance of content and are utilizing our long-standing relationships with publishers to secure primarily frontlist academic material for ED. Publisher agreements are being signed daily and we continue to build a top-notch repository of material.
eBook purchasing is being integrated into existing library acquisitions processes. ED titles are listed in our bibliographic products including The Title Source™ II, B&T Link™ Online, and GOBI® Edition 2. As your traditional book vendors, Baker & Taylor and YBP sell the content, hosted on ED. Baker & Taylor's Informata division provides the ED technology and the ongoing management of this data. Integration of eBooks into our approval, notification, and standing order services is planned for the future.
How to purchase:
YBP customers can use the subject lists on this page to identify desired titles. ISBN links allow customers to place orders directly through GOBI 2. Lists are arranged by general subject category, and will be updated monthly.
Baker & Taylor customers can search, select, and order ED titles using the Title Source II product family and B&T Link Online.
All of our ED customers can receive free access to a specialized version of TSII Silver which includes only ED titles, to assist with selection and ordering.
