Children's Award Program

By enrolling in YBP's Children's Award Program, your patrons will have access to award-winning children's titles recommended by experts in academia. You can opt to receive automatic book deliveries or title notification slips from GOBI3 (Global Online Bibliographic Information), our acquisition and collection management interface - and we'll take care of the rest.

This comprehensive program encompasses award categories in various genre categories (fiction, non-fiction and poetry); common genres (folklore, historical fiction, mystery, etc.); and formats (picture books, chapter books and graphic novels). Some awards are even judged by children and young adults! Standard prizes such as the Newbery and Caldecott Medals; multi-cultural awards such as the Coretta Scott King and Tomas Rivera awards; and international awards from Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, and New Zealand such as the Aurealis, Bisto, Kate Greenaway, and Costa awards are covered.

With more than 150 subcategories to choose from, you'll find the titles needed for your library's collection. Click here for a complete list of award categories and check back often for new additions.

To participate in this program, send a completed Profile Specifications form to your YBP representative or email sales@ybp.com.
