YBP/Lindsay and Croft Lists

YBP/Lindsay and Croft Lists provide a way for libraries to receive automatic shipments or notification of titles listed in Academia, YBP's online magazine and collection development resource for academic libraries. Experience shows that some libraries use these lists as yardsticks against which to measure their collecting; other libraries may use the lists as a means of collecting limited quality titles in particular subject areas.

How the Program Works

A library may sign up for YBP/Lindsay and Croft Lists at any time with a completed Profile Specification form. Libraries may elect coverage for any or all List categories. For each, libraries can choose to receive automatic shipment of books, or eSlips, which can be used to place orders for selected titles.

We will monitor List shipments for duplication against YBP and Lindsay and Croft firm order, approval, continuations, and awards shipments. Libraries can opt to receive multiple copies for any list category.

Libraries may choose to have List books billed and shipped on an existing YBP/L&C sub-account, at normal discount, or may prefer to have List books billed and shipped on a new, separate sub-account.

Libraries electing coverage for Lindsay and Croft lists will need to have an L&C account. YBP lists require a YBP account.
