Continuations Titles for Law Libraries

YBP is pleased to count among its customers a large number of academic law libraries, including most of the members of the COSELL, MALSLC, and NELLCO consortia, as well as an increasing number of Canadian and other international law libraries. As we have added law customers, our coverage of law materials has broadened and deepened. Through our approval plan and notification services, YBP now profiles approximately 2,500 titles in law and criminology annually; our British office Lindsay and Croft handles about 1,000 titles.

Within those titles is a broad range of law-related series, presented to you on YBP's website. Coverage for these series can be provided in one of two ways. We can include most of them as part of a larger approval plan, shipping each volume as it is published and profiled. Alternatively, we can handle them separately as continuations, with tracking by purchase order number, claiming for missing volumes, and the other special treatment provided for standing orders.

On this list, you'll find standard law continuations title such as The Papers of John Marshall, The Hornbook Series, Supreme Court Review, and Oxford Studies in Modern Legal History. You may also be interested in more specialized titles such as AEI Studies on Financial Market Deregulation, Communications Law and Policy in Transition, Etudes de Droit International, and Hong Kong Taxation. For each series title, we've provided information on a sample volume. In addition, you may obtain information about other volumes in a particular series by searching the series title or series ID in GOBI Edition 2.

If you are interested in setting up approval plan or continuations coverage for any of these series, or to inquire about our coverage of other legal titles, please contact your YBP customer service or sales representative.
