Electronic Order Responses/Status Reports
An order's current status is always accessible in YBP's online system, GOBI. YBP can also supply electronic order responses, often utilized as open order status reports, in various delimited and EDI formats, delivered via e-mail or FTP. Some library systems have the ability to load these automatically via standard EDI protocols; for others that do not yet have that ability, YBP can supply electronic versions of our customary printed status reports as XML, HTML, or pipe-delimited files. Reports are provided for any monographic orders placed with YBP, including rush orders, but not for approval automatic shipments or standing orders. Libraries can customize the output frequency, output directory, and US/UK file differentiation. There is no charge for electronic order responses.
